Monica Beauregard advises clients in a variety of
HR functional areas, including HR/Payroll systems project management, functional
and structural HR improvement initiatives, performance management,
compensation and benefits, and recruitment. She has spent the last eight
years consulting with Bridgepoint.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Ms. Beauregard held
human resources management positions for some of Canada’s leading
organizations including Rogers AT& T, Nestles, and Bausch & Lomb
Canada. Her experience spans several industries including legal, hi-tech,
retail, foodservice, financial, telecommunications, and pharmaceutical. In
addition to her Honours Degree in Business and her Canadian Human Resource
Professional (CHRP) designation, she has over 15 years’ generalist human
resource experience.
As a human resources management consultant, Ms.
Beauregard has been involved in working closely with management, in both
small and large companies, to ensure HR programs provide added value to the
business. She has carried out a range of HR initiatives for clients,
including conducting HR structural reviews, HR System reviews and HR audits
for a number of companies.

Marybeth Ashbourne - Associate Consultant

Marybeth Ashbourne has more than 20 years of
experience as a Human Resources professional in a variety of industries,
including transportation, telecommunications, food production, and fashion
retail. Marybeth has worked with leading organizations including Rogers
AT& T, Purolator Courier, and Holt Renfrew. Her most recent corporate
position was Vice President of Human Resources at Holt Renfrew.
Marybeth has had experience in a broad spectrum of
Human Resources functions, ranging from employee relations, performance
management and organizational development to compensation and benefits. She
has been accountable for program development, implementation and evaluation,
always with the purpose of linking people resources to organizational
performance.
Marybeth holds an M.B.A. from the University of
Toronto, is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of
Ontario and holds the designation of Canadian Human Resources Professional
(CHRP). She is bilingual in English and French.
Yvonne
Mitchell – Associate Consultant

Yvonne Mitchell is an HR and Payroll
Consultant with Bridgepoint. She
advises clients in a variety of Payroll functional areas, including
HR/Payroll systems project management, functional and structural Payroll
improvement initiatives, compensation and benefits.
Prior to
consulting with Bridgepoint, Ms. Mitchell held payroll and human resource
management positions for some of Canada’s leading organizations including
Dundee Securities Corporation and Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. Her experience spans several
industries which include legal and financial services. In addition to her CHRP, CEBS , CPM and
CCP certifications, she has over 10 years’ of payroll experience and 13
years’ of generalist human resource experience.
As a Consultant, Ms. Mitchell has
been involved in working closely with management and employees, in both small
and large companies, to ensure Payroll processes are streamlined,
documented and compliant. Ms. Mitchell has had extensive
experience with payroll implementations, transitions and harmonization of
payroll processes and reporting.
Ms. Mitchell has also been an active participant in benefit
harmonization projects and HRIS implementations.
Yvonne also volunteers with the Canadian Payroll
Association as a Subject Matter Expert.
Lauren Bernardi- Associate Consultant and Trainer
Lauren is a proactive employment lawyer. For more
than 13 years, Lauren has been providing strategic advice and representation
in the increasingly complex area of human resource law. Lauren has a degree
in psychology and received her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Lauren has facilitated a number of Respect in the
Workplace sessions to law firms in Toronto. Described as an “exceptional
speaker who explains the law in terms that everyone can understand”, Lauren
has been a conference presenter to a wide variety of groups.
A prolific writer, Lauren is the author of a
leading book on workplace policies, “Powerful Employment Policies” and
authored the simple to use hiring guide, “Recruitment Workbook & Disk” .
Lauren has also written numerous articles on human resource law for various
business publications, including acting as the legal columnist for Canadian
Manager magazine for eight years, and writing for the Canadian HR Reporter
and Canadian Employment Law Today.
Susan MacKenzie - Associate Trainer
Susan provides customized performance and training
solutions. Her 20 plus years of work experience at a variety of levels from
front line to senior management provides a wealth of real-world examples and
scenarios for participants. Susan had provided a variety of training sessions
in a number of areas with an emphasis in Communication Skills. Susan holds an
Adult Education Certificate, from St. Francis Xavier University.
